Andrew's mom's birthday is tomorrow (September 9) and I got to make her a cake! For her cake, I wanted to incorporate two of her favorite things: purple and sunflowers. The purple came out a little disappointing because it looks sort of blue, but that's okay! The sunflowers were fairly easy, and didn't take much effort at all. I gave it to her yesterday morning before Church, and she loved it! Later that afternoon we all watched a movie and ate some cake! It was really good!
This weekend, Andrew and I also got to print off some much needed pictures to go in our scrapbook! I started making Andrew this scrapbook for his birthday last November, and with the stresses of school and work, I wasn't able to work on it anymore... until this weekend! Andrew and I went to Target and printed off some pictures from Valentines Day, and we put together a couple pages on Saturday! I still have to do pages for last fall, Christmas, and New Years, but I already had Valentine's stickers ready that I just couldn't wait to put them all together!
