Fun Memories
Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, just write anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you!

Venturing Out On New Crafts
I like to consider myself a crafty person. Always heading to the local craft store to search out new ideas and gain new inspiration. For a long time, and even now, I like to put together scrapbooks. My friend Alyssa got me into it during our young middle school days, and ever since then I have been putting all kinds of memory books together. I currently have 3 books. But there is just something different and special about creating something of your own, something that reflects your own ideas, your heart, and your life.
Now, I love my scrapbook, and I love the one I made for Andrew. But there comes a time when you want to venture out and try something new. So, Andrew and I are going into this together, searching for a new great hobby!
Andrew got the urge to try painting, and we will be traveling to the craft stores today to look for some great supplies to get him going! I, on the other hand, am going to try to learn how to crochet! My grandma tried to teach me a long time ago, but I was too young and couldn't keep focused. But now, I figured I might try it, and ultimately keep the hobby of crocheting in my family. I have my lesson book, a skein of pretty pink yarn, and a hook. I am having trouble getting my hands to do what they are suppose to, but I suppose it just takes practice.
So, if anyone has any helpful hints or tips for either painting or crocheting, let us know!

Weekend Recap!
Last week was pretty busy with classes, the 4th of July, and mine and Andrew's 11 month Anniversary. So here's a little recap of the last week:
On July 3rd, Andrew's mom, Andrew, and I went to see the fireworks display in Cumming. It was pretty fun, even though they didn't last that long. Then on July 4th, Andrew's mom and I went to the annual Cumming Steam Engine Parade. It was pretty fun, they have lots of old steam engines, cars, and some floats. All of which throw out candy and little odds and ends stuff as they pass by! It is pretty fun! I use to be in the parade when I was younger, and it was interesting! The parade is basically the same every year, so like I always say, "if you have been once, you have been a million times." But despite the heat, it was pretty fun seeing everyone dressed up in 4th of July attire!
That afternoon, after Andrew got off work, we went to one of his family friend's pool. The water felt so calming after being in the sun all morning! I got a little red, but not bad at all. That night we went to our friends Mike and Jennifer's house to hang out. We love hanging out with them. We cooked some hamburgers, talked, and played some Uno. It was fun!
Then the next day, July 5th, Andrew and I went out to celebrate our 11 month Anniversary! We went to On the Border for a little Mexican dinner, and then headed over to the Mall of Georgia. We had a great time.
